Proposals to build a 22m high 5G internet mask submitted to North Yorkshire Council.

Freshwave Facilities Ltd has recently submitted a proposal to North Yorkshire Council to get the local authority's approval to build a 22m high 5G mast at the Reighton Sands Holiday Village.
According to the planning documents, the 5G monopole would support six antenna apertures at a maximum height of 23m alongside a cabin that contains the equipment used to generate the radio signals. Freshwave Facilities Ltd "intends to fill a hole in coverage within the local area" in order to resolve "the poor service coverage", the document reads.
The proposed site, which can be accessed via Sands Road, is within the grounds of the Haven Reighton Holiday Park. It is characterised by "predominantly static caravans with open fields located to the south and the coastline to the north.
If approved, the mast will be able to accommodate 5G technology and provide "ultrafast mobile connectivity" to the area. It will also allow the provision of 3G and 4G mobile connections.
