Before we start:

Make sure you are connected to the router through an "Ethernet Cable" (We supply you with one of these in the router box).
We strongly recommend a wired connection for these steps. If you already have reception problems trying to change channel can be difficult without a wired connection.
Why you would want to change the channels?
If you are getting interference from other routers and wireless devices then going through the channels would be the best way to avoid your router being affected by other.
The best three WIFI Channels to use are 1, 6 and 11 however we advise to go through them one by one and choose the one that is best for you.
Changes are instant but we do advise that after any changes you monitor it over 24 hours.
Log into the router:

To log in the router go to your Internet browser such as:
- Internet Explorer
- Chrome
- Firefox
- Safari etc.
Clear everything out of the address bar at the top (it may be filled with a website address such as www.google.co.uk)
Type in "192.168.1.1" in the address bar and press "Enter" on your keyboard. (You do not need the http://)

It will now ask you for a username and password for the router.
This is located underneath the router as "Web Username" and "Web Password".

Once this is done you will see the router home page.
Click on "Wireless", then click on "Advanced" and now you will be on the advanced page of the wireless settings.

There are 4 places we need to look at:
A - This is the channel selection area, You can select from AUTO, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13
B - This is the current channel that your wireless is connected to.
Because "A" is set on Auto it has determined that the best channel to use is channel "1"
C - The severity level. Sometimes it will say "Severe" in which case it will be beneficial if you change the channel to another.
D - Xpress Technology allows more data through on the wireless connection.
If you are having slow speeds on WIFI then this is an option that could also be enabled.
The first thing to do is enable "X-Press Technology" which is towards the bottom and click "Apply/Save"
Start from changing Auto to channel 1, monitor it over some time and if there is no improvement then select channel 6 and further to this channel 11. If there is no improvement with these three then go through each channel until you and the one which works best for your environment.
NOTE: You can see how many devices are connected wirelessly to your router by clicking on "Station Info" on the left. This is a good tool to find out if anyone is using your internet without permission
